Amazon established its backend operations in Hyderabad in 2005-06. It recently inaugurated its first Fulfilment Centre near Hyderabad in 2017. Spread over 280,000 square feet, it is one of the company’s biggest FCs in India. In 2019, Amazon inaugurated its first owned and world’s largest campus building worldwide, in Hyderabad. The campus spread across 9.5 acres, is built to offer an agile-based environment to maintain the well-being of employees and foster inclusion and will house 15,000 employees.
