Telangana Industrial Health Clinic Limited
In 2017, the Telangana government launched an NBFC — Telangana Industrial Health Clinic Limited (TIHCL) to prevent incipient sickness among MSMEs and to rehabilitate sick units. TIHCL advises these enterprises in the resolution of the stress they faced from banks. The NBFC has launched a web portal I-Health in partnership with Microsoft for sick MSEs to register themselves for support from TIHCL and encourage banks to partner with them to revive the sick units. TIHCL’s innovative institutional intervention to resolve the stressed assets in micro and small manufacturing enterprises has attracted the attention of policymakers at the national level.
